  1. Tena Koe Patrick,

Great work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity - keep up the good work. Don’t forget to comment back to blog commenters as well as on others SLJ blog posts to gain extra points.

I was blown away by the person who you have chosen to write about today for your own choice activity. The work Malala Yousafzai has done truly makes her a very heroic and an inspirational woman for many people. It is clear that you have done a lot of reading and are well aware of the shocking treatment of Malala and many others in Pakistan during this time. I could not imagine what it must’ve been like to be Malala, being put in this situation and risking her life for something that was important to her, education.

Thank you so much for sharing her story on your blog post, I can tell that this is something that is also important to you. What an inspiring person you have chosen to share with us.

I see that you have two activities on this 1 blog post, I will create another comment for your other blog post :)

    Keep up the great blogging,
    Kueni.

  2. Hi again Patrick,

What another awesome post for today! I really enjoyed reading your blog post today about your 5 favourite things to do. I bet these are all the things you’ve been doing every day since the school holidays started :)

Your pictures you have included in this blog post are so cool, I like the picture of you playing basketball, in the background.. Did the ball go in? I also really like that you have included that you like playing games, what is your favourite game to play? I really want to get a Nintendo Switch. Is it very easy to use? They remind me of the old PSP’s that used to be around.

    Ka kite,
    Kueni

  3. Ata Mārie Patrick, how is your day going so far?

This is a brilliant post, I can see you’ve put lots of effort in! I really enjoyed reading what some of your favourite things to do are. What is your favourite music to listen to? I like to listen to music too, travel, read, go outside and be amongst nature, dance, and hang out with my friends and whānau.

I’ve noticed that you haven’t been active in a while, and we really enjoyed reading your posts when you were active. You made some absolutely epic posts (I think you may have even made it to our ‘Outstanding Posts’ site - check it out here https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/participation-and-prizes/outstanding-blog-posts).

I thought I would just jump on your blog and give you a gentle reminder that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (24th January) so you have until then to do as many activities as you can. Remember that the more activities you do, the more points you gain and the higher the chance of you winning some really cool prizes!

Happy blogging, I look forward to reading more of your posts :)
    Eliza.
