Now, the first fact I'm going to tell you about is that one time, part of the territory of New South Wales was the government of New Zealand until a PART of Australia was the government! I wonder why? Bonus fact to this, New South Wales is way larger than New Zealand which is just under 550,000 Kilometers!
Straight onto our next fact. Gaining citizenship here in New Zealand is kind of weird but very normal here in New Zealand. Here's the point, swearing an oath of loyalty to Queen Elizabeth is what you need to do. Basically a suitable promise.
Finally with our last fact, Gisborne is the first city IN NEW ZEALAND that sees the sun because just under 500 Kilometers to the west is the International date line!

You have definitely read the information carefully because you have paraphrased the facts you read, well done. Next time it would be great if you elaborate a little bit more on the facts that you shared. For example, what is the international date line? How could you explain it to readers who may not know or understand what it is?
Also, I can totally understand why you might think swearing an oath to Queen Elizabeth a little weird, but we have a long and complicated history with England. Perhaps you can do a bit of your own research to find out more..
