"Fern" In New Zealand Sports Teams
A very common plant in New Zealand is the fern. Meaning that you can find it very easily around the country. Speaking about ferns, did you know that some sports teams in New Zealand have the common plant, fern in their name? We'll talk about 3 of them. Here they are -
1. Silver Ferns. ( National Team For Netball... Girls)
2. Black Ferns. ( The New Zealand Rugby Team... For Girls.)
3. White Ferns ( The New Zealand Cricket Team... For Girls.)
In my opinion, I would choose the White Ferns because I like playing cricket and I've never heard of a girls team for cricket. Also the name is quite cool.

ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed checking out this post and your thoughts on New Zealand sporting uniforms. I really like the New Zealand sports uniforms because they are often really simple. They are usually black or white and don't have too much else on them.
I really like watching cricket as well. Do you have a favourite player? Do you prefer batting or bowling or a little bit of both?
