Summer Learning Journey - Week 1 | Day 2 - UP IN THE AIR | Activity 3 - Miracle On The Hudson

Well, hello folks! Friends & Families! Classmates! Patrick here. The final activity of the day is about bravery. Mr. Chesley Sullenberger was an airline pilot for around 30 years. 10-11 years ago he was famous for landing his A320 safely in the middle of Hudson river. The cause was from his 2 engines losing electricity thus shutting them off. All 155 on board were safe. The miraculous event is now known as the "Miracle On The Hudson". One time, I had to do something brave as well. I'll go ahead and show you. Hope you enjoy!
As always, comment down below what you think.

  1. Malo e Lelei Patrick,

It’s Kueni here again from the Summer Learning programme. Once again I am blown away by another awesome and creative blog post! I really enjoy following your blog, you always put 100% into all your blog posts and I look forward to opening your posts every time I have seen you’ve posted a new one, I've even told the two other blog commenters within the Ako Hiko cluster.

The story about the ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ really is one for the books and such and amazing story. I really enjoyed your blog post today about you stepping up and doing something brave just like Mr. Chelsey Sullenberger has to do back in 2009. The overall poster of you and your friend singing at the school talent show is so awesome! The detail you have put into your drawing is outstanding and the little story to go only with your post is so detailed made me feel like I was in the room watching you as I read the story.

I would love to hear what the outcome was with the talent show and I think you are super brave for getting up in front of 75 other kids in your school to sing, Ka Pai!

    Blog ya later,
    Kueni
